The hearings were attended by the People´s Deputies of Ukraine, the representatives of the central executive bodies and public associations, the leaders of organizations in the field of construction, urban development, housing and communal services, and the scientists.
The reporters stated that "housing and communal economy and the construction sector lack human resources".
The Committee recommends that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine elaborates and introduces amendments to the legislation concerning obligatory professional development of public officials in the sectors of housing and communal economy, and construction. Moreover, the said amendments should envisage liability for non-observance of the said requirement.
